1/0 Design Collective Wins BALE
The design team 1|0 Design Collective of architects Jan Carlo San Luis and Angelo Ray Serrano (third and fourth from left, respectively) receive a check replica of US$40,000 as grand prize winner of the Clark Green City’s BALE (Building Accessible and Liveable Ecologies) international housing design competition after the final judging held on August 20 at the Mind Museum in Bonifacio Global City. Joining the winning architects are the judges of the global competition, namely, (from left) lawyer Arnel Paciano Casanova, president and CEO of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority, lawyer Darlene Marie Berberabe, president and CEO of Pag-IBIG Fund (Home Mortgage and Development Fund), BCDA director Zorayda Alonzo, BCDA consultant Andrea Dorotan, urban planner Katja Schnetchner of the Asian Development Bank, AECOM director Thomas SK Tang, and architect Miguel Guerrero of the Green Architecture Advocacy of the Philippines.

Registration closed at 12 Noon (GMT +8:00). We have 143 Registered Teams: 95 local and 43 international. Orientation and Clarification commenced at 2 PM and ended at 4 PM. It was attended by 80 registered participants.
