With a total land area of 2,690 hectares, the Central Business District’s primary land use caters to residential, BPOs, offices and light manufacturing. Because of the BPOs unprecedented growth, BPO hubs in Metro Manila are eyeing relocation to cities and towns outside the metropolis. Relocating them to urban centers outside the metropolis is expected to open more job opportunities and help ensure the companies’ 24/7 operations. This is an opportunity that can be tapped by the Clark Green City. The supply of talent was the main determinant for a location’s sustainability for hosting IT BPO operations.
