PNR Station Marking

DOTR, PNR and JICA led ceremonies today for the marking of the first five stations of the 17 stations of the new PNR Manila-Clark Railway. Soon travel time will only be 55 minutes!

In attendance were key members of the economic team pushing for the Build. Build. Build Infrastructure plan and heads of the LGUs covering the five stations: Marilao, Meycauayan, Valenzuela, Caloocan & Tutuban.

DOTR Secretary Arthur Tugade notes that for the first time a railway connects Manila to Clark.

Aside from this high impact infrastructure, government will simultaneously build a new terminal in Clark to bring up passenger capacity so that people living in Norther and Central Luzon will not have to go to Metro Manila anymore to travel; and build the New Clark City to serve as a new center of growth and development in Luzon.
